How Long does it take to Repair Credit?

The truth is, there really is no easy answer to this question. The only time you will truly know how long your credit repair program will take is once you have completed it. However, we have provided you with a general credit repair schedule so you can get an idea of approximately how long your program will take. You can typically expect your credit repair program to take about 2-6 months. The length of your program depends on how many items you want to be disputed, and what types of items they are. Below is a guide to what will typically be done during each month of your program.

MONTH 1

  • You will obtain your credit report through an online service and it will upload to our system.

  • The credit experts will closely review your report for errors and miscalculations.

  • We will write the initial dispute letters.

  • We will mail the initial dispute letters to your credit bureaus.

MONTH 2

  • You will begin to receive response letters from your creditors. You will be instructed to upload these letters into your client portal for our experts for review.

  • We will log your results in our database and keep you updated 24/7 about the changes being made to our credit report.

  • We will write a second round of dispute letters to your credit bureaus.

  • We will mail the second round of dispute letters to your creditors.

MONTH 3

  • You will receive additional response letters from your creditors. You will be instructed to upload these letters into your client portal so our experts for review.

  • We will log your results in our database and keep you updated 24/7 about the changes being made to our credit report.

  • We will write a third round of dispute letters to your credit bureaus.

  • We will mail the third round of dispute letters to your creditors.

MONTHS 4 - 6

The process used in month 3 will be repeated for months 4 - 6 if necessary. The more rounds of disputes we send out, the better results you will receive. Many people are more than satisfied with the results that they receive in month 3, and choose to end the program there. That is completely fine. If we feel as though there is more work to be done on your credit report, however, we will urge you to stick with the program up until month 6.
